Ivan is five today. What a blessing he has been. His unique outlook on things is a never ending source of entertainment. Love that kid.
Things started out a little crazy with his early arrival, immediate departure and strong recovery. I mentioned to Kris last night that 5 years ago at that point we still thought we were going to have a baby at Christmas. He has been surprising us over and over again since that early morning in late November of 2005.

What an amazing little guy!
I went back and re-read some of the birth posts. I had forgotten just how early he’d been! I remembered the drama and the heartache of him being in the hospital, but had completely forgotten the fact that it was nearly a MONTH ahead of the due date.
