No Toothbrushes in Heaven

The kids and I have been working on a little children’s book idea. Just thought I’d share the first part.

There are no Toothbrushes in Heaven,
No rinse, no mouthwash, no floss.
Our food won’t stick to our teeth,
Not even the best chocolate sauce.
And if our dentist makes it to heaven,
Which some folks say is in doubt,
He’ll have to find a new job
Because no teeth will rot, or fall out.

I have a lovely day planned in which I meet up with a friend for lunch and bring along some treasures I’ve had in closets for her to display properly in a jungle themed baby room.

I’m so in awe of God. All the babies that have come in the last several months. A lot of them have come to families who thought they were done having babies and yet…God sends surprises and offers joy unexpected. It’s fun to watch!

I have all my money turned in for India. The church has my passport and my visa is applied for. Now my biggest challenge is purchasing some appropriate clothing for the heat as well as the conservative presentation needed. What is hurting my heart a little are a few of the people I’ve talked to who are struggling to get money turned in. One girl in particular is on my mind almost constantly. I think there’s a reason for that and I am trying to seek the Lord on what I can do alongside her to be of help. There are a couple of ideas brewing. Please be praying for Bridgett. She has a lot of passion about the purposes and plans God has for this trip.

  1. Haven’t been able to visit your blog for awhile. Congrats on the upcoming trip! Yes, I remember the clothing search before going to Africa.
