When the time changes I am always so tired. It seems the older I get, the harder it is to adjust to it. Yesterday and today I just feel soooo tired.
I decided I’d better leave the house for a while so that I don’t flatter my feelings too much and allow them to get the better of my need to get things done. Owen and I went to the zoo for a little while but didn’t stay long…it was full of people…
How dare they all come out on such a nice day. I realized that I had forgotten to pack Owen any wipes too and I was a little afraid of what may come of that so it was back to the car once we had looked at a few things and eaten lunch.
We went to Kroger on Old Hickory Blvd. and picked up a few grocery items we needed and then on to Home Depot right up the road for Water Softner Salt. I also wanted to go through the place and price a few things like a screen for our patio door and a new faucet for our kitchen sink. Screens run about $30 to $40 and faucets are anywhere from $60 to $400. I have a hard time deciding what I want in a faucet anyway so I’ll keep shopping.
We are home now and Owen is practicing his newest hobby. Moving furniture or pillows or anything loose and large from one room to another. His rocking horse is being dragged through our bedroom at the moment.
Funny, Clay has found a siliar hobby. Ivana has two stuffed animals on her bed and just about every day Clay will take the stuffed animals out of his room and add them to her collection. For some reason he throws the two of hers on the floor first though. He moves furniture downstairs, but there really isn’t anywhere to go with it so that’s not very interesting.
Monday and Tuesday it was sooo hard for me to get out of bed. It’s one measly hour, why is it such an adjustment?
I can’t wait to see what Owen will find at our house to rearrange!
Gabe is constantly moving his toybox (it’s HUGE) and used to move his crib before I took the wheels off and hid them. 😀
Yeah, our crib came with wheels and there are definitely times I wish they were on the crib because Owen is always throwing his socks or his pacifier behind it, but I can see where the whole rearranging your own room could become a problem too.
