A Squiggly Give-Away!

Yesterday I got a copy of Squiggly’s Race to the Ark, specifically to give away on my blog.

I’m so excited that I get to do this and I know one of you is going to enjoy it very much!

I wrote all about the book on my last post, and I hope that even if you don’t win this book, you’ll order a copy.

Here’s how to win:

1. Leave a comment here on my blog saying who you would love to share this book with (your child, grandchild, neighbor etc.) and why, to be entered once.

2. Go to facebook and “like” Squiggly’s page, leave a comment here to let me know that you did this, to be entered once.

3. Go to Squiggly’s website and do the gift assessment (either about you or your child) and leave a comment with the results, to be entered once.

You can be entered up to three times.

I want you to be able to get this book before Christmas so I’m going to end this on Friday. One of my boys will draw a name and I’ll contact you if you win. Make sure when commenting to leave a valid e-mail address so I can get in touch with you.

  1. The book looks really interesting but my kids aren’t so small anymore. I think Halle might like it but I won’t enter since someone else might have a child that would love it. My girls have a tendency to say things like, “that’s so baby-ish”. Sigh.

The upside is that we’re so far past diapers that I can barely remember what it was like 😉

  2. I bought one for Sarah yesterday. What a delightful storyline. Even more precious is Sarah ended up reading the book to me… Not vice versa. I want to win a book to give to my neice Afton.

  3. I would like a copy of Squiggly’s book. My girls are a little old for it at this point, but I have one little fella who is ready to grow into it 🙂

  4. I would love to have this book for Faith and Justis. Faith said she wants to be a “veteran.” And I assume Justis will love animals just because at 8 months he’s already snorting and growling quite nicely.

  5. If I were to win… I would read this book to my 1st and 2nd grade class. It sounds like a great book for them and a good springboard for discussion during Bible time.

  6. Mary you should be writing children’s stories as well. You have so many oportunities with your children’s little anecdotes on life, they would make wonderful ideas to start a children’s storybook. I read to classrooms in the local community schools and this would be a great book to read to a class. A way of slipping a little religion into a class without being discovered and banned.

  7. I love it Rose! Yes, I want to do that. I think that will happen sooner or later. I have written a couple things but publishing is the bear I haven’t conquered yet. I am a bit slow about pushing my wares and my creative bent seems to veer me off course at times. I am confident though that there is a season and a time for it and God will direct me when it’s “right”. Thank you for the vote of confidence!

  8. I would love to have this book for my daughter who really loves to read and also for her friends Cassie & Zach. ..
