Thirty years ago, Tiffany Boone,
Was, like, BIG TIME starved, by like, noon,
She drank Mello Yello,
With Pop-Rocks and Jell-O,
And then totally gagged on a spoon
Trivia:
- The name Tiffany was ranked 11th most popular in the 80’s
- Tiffany’s (and Mikey’s) experience was in no way connected with pop-rocks being taken off the shelves in 1983.
- The combination of pop-rocks and carbonated beverages will not make your stomach explode. You may spill the graham crackers though.
- Mello Yello was introduced in 1979 (gateway to the 80’s) in a move by Coke to compete with Mountain Dew. (So totally Lame.)
- Jell-O is older than most of the people I know. It was neither introduced in the 80’s nor was it significantly changed in the 80’s (other than the addition of sugar-free options) but I loved eating it in the 80’s, especially with a little Cool-Whip (grody to the max) mixed with it.
- In the 80’s I had a good friend who ate nothing but a snack bag of Doritos and a Pepsi everyday for lunch.
Like totally hilarious.
Hahaha! Totally funny 😀
