Tick Tock

So precise was dear Idabelle Fox,
She had experts come check all her clocks,
“Match the rhythm!” she said,
And she wouldn’t go to bed
Until none of their ticks fell on tocks.

It has been a quiet week for writing here. I have several ideas piled in the corners of my calico dreams but nothing worthy of publishing yet. Tweaking is an often overlooked necessity and I try not to neglect it here too often.

Kris is home from a week’s trip to Africa. He is still very tired though he has been home almost a week. Jet lag combined with a minimal amount of sleep while he was there, plus allergies hitting upon his return makes Kris a slow boy. I’m quite sure that he would tell you it was quite worth it regardless. I should post some of his pictures since he isn’t keeping his own personal blog anymore.

I am in some areas keeping up and in others catching up. Both are time consuming it seems. Next week will hit the ground running with shopping trips and Bible study starting up again for the fall. It’s going to be lots of fun, but as always very busy.

Fall also brings on birthdays and I am planning a party for Aron for two weeks from today. I started out keeping up with this one but am now behind. Just need to mail out those invites and we’ll be back on track. Two weeks! Yikes!

Today is errands and having lunch at the boys school. It’s going to be a good one.

  1. I sure understand the whole catching-up thing! But I’m looking forward to the pictures-of Kris’ trip and the birthday party 🙂
