I have taken a bit of a break on the couch project with our trip out of town and all, but thought I’d show you the latest as of several weeks ago.
This piece is cut out and pinned to the couch right now. I’ve kept it there until I get my piping cut and sewn. Then I plan to attach it more permanently.

It makes me happy. I just need to finish it.
This is not the final piece. The arms the bottom and the back all have to be considered. I’m doing this one piece at a time though. No rush. She’s sitting pretty out there and my quiet moments are more pleasant already because of her.
Just so you know, Halle thinks it’s pretty 🙂 And I do too. I don’t envy the figuring that has to be done to make it all work but you’re doing a great job thus far.
Yep. Slow and steady wins the race. Eventually 🙂
