No pictures tonight. I’m tired. I’ve been getting ready to go. We are heading to Atlanta tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary. Sunday will mark 12 years of divinely matched support, encouragement, faithfulness and fun.
I may or may not have mentioned that Kris is not working right now. Well, he’s working, but not the kind of work that brings in a paycheck. We are doing okay and I know God has the next client out there somewhere, but in a situation like this we wouldn’t normally do certain things. Going out of town and staying in a hotel is one of those things…even on our anniversary…we just wouldn’t do it. Having someone come in and paint our kitchen is another something we wouldn’t do. Yet, through unforeseen or oddly timed circumstances these things have happened and though none of them are technically free and they came with their share of negative attributes, I can’t help but feel like I’ve been given a gift. As if God is smiling on me despite what I deserve or earn, and I like it.
Happy late birthday LaDonna…I don’t know if you still get a chance to read blogs, but I was thinking of you on Tuesday.
Happy birthday Amber and Amy…I picture you both laughing over cake and friendship today. Enjoy!
I hope your getaway is wonderful! You deserve it 🙂
And I hope the negative attributes all fade away into the background as the blessings come shining through.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I did laugh over ice cream cake yesterday afternoon. My FAVORITE!!!
