New Stuff

I’m ready for a new blog skin. I’m tired of looking at this one. I need to make a blog skin for Aron too and I’d like to update the other boy’s as well. They don’t look like those pictures anymore.

I’m in need of a new wardrobe. Unfortunately I still need some of these maternity clothes in order to stay modestly dressed so I can’t run out to the store just yet.

I need a new plan in my pantry. The shelves are wire and that just isn’t a good idea in a pantry. The shelves are also supported by brackets that fit at an angle underneath which causes me to have to work around them in placing items in the pantry. I need drawers and adjustable shelves and an all around pantry makeover.

I thought I needed a new computer. Kris had replaced the hard drive in this one and seemed to have fixed the problem it was having. It would just shut off with no warning. I have been using it again and I thought it did it again on Monday and we were talking about replacement options. Should I get a laptop or stick with a desk top with a larger monitor? Should I use one of the other computers we are using for a lesser purpose now? Or should I try to fix the one I have…it hasn’t shut off since we started talking replacement. I think because we had the conversation in front of the computer it is realizing the need for integrity and faithfulness.

I need a new banana. The one I’m eating now is almost gone.

  1. I think something like these make me think it might fit nicely in your house.

I think you should look at different pictures of pantries and materials options and just see what is out there and go with it. Pantry space is one of the most important things in the home of a woman who loves food and loves to cook for the family. I know that wire type shelving you are talking about. It’s better for laundry rooms than anything, I think.

And also, my preference is to desktops because they are cheaper to buy or build and also cheaper to maintain through the years. When laptops die it can really rack up a lot faster.

  2. I vote for a laptop with a docking station and monitor. That’s the setup I have and I love it. Of course, I have a computer guy in-house to fix it but you do to; if he has time 🙂

I’m not sure I can help you with new clothes or new bananas but I think you should tear out the whole pantry and have a custom pantry built. Pricey, yes, but probably much more functional.

  3. I need to get to meet you one of these days. My old friend Kris has held out on me not telling me how much I would like you. tsk, tsk… This could translate into you needing a vacation to New Orleans!!

I also need a video of your Night of Laughter. I hate being left out of such fun-sounding happenings!

I need the chance I’m going to have to sleep in tomorrow.

I also need a banana, however I want a box of chocolates instead.

  4. A complete overhaul on the pantry would be great. Maybe I should get an estimate and then I’d feel better about not doing it. 🙂

The computer is still going strong so I think I’m going to have to keep it for a while. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes, Becky, a vacation to New Orleans sounds very good. We actually considered a trip there for fun and football this past month as our Titans were playing your Saints in the Superdome. However, when we found out we were going to be having a baby right around that time it completely dashed our hopes. Oh well, a baby is pretty good too. And we will get down there again one day. I love coffee and beignets at Cafe’ Du Monde…we have some places here that serve substitutes but it’s just better when you’re actually there.
