I haven’t said much about Aron’s room. I did decorate a little for the poor little guy. I made a curtain panel and a crib skirt then purchased some things to go along with it, like sheets and bumper pad for the crib and then coordinating sheets and comforter for the other bed in the room.
During our trip to Target the other day I saw these little pails in their bargain area at the front of the store and realized they were the colors of the stripes in Aron’s room so I bought these four. I honestly don’t even know what I’m going to do with them but for a dollar a piece I couldn’t pass them up. They are just too cute. The only color in my fabric that they didn’t seem to have was orange.
I don’t get a sense of size from the picture- so I may be suggesting things that don’t fit the scale….
Cotton balls? Q-tips? Tubes of diaper creme?
Or for decorative sake, Hot wheels cars and Legos?
Or cutesy- little potted plants like I’ve done with a teacup on my laptop desk?
I kind of imagine crayons on a desk, too, but I don’t really think that’s something Aron will need for some time, and it might be a bit of a temptation for the older boys to grab a few and color on inappropriate surfaces.
The plants might be a good idea. I hadn’t thought of that. The cotton balls/q-tips etc. would work but all of those things would make the most sense if placed near the changing table and that’s in the closet out of view. Although…I was considering decorating the hall bathroom in the same colors so maybe I should put them to use in there with the above mentioned ideas and include soaps and bath stuff. Oooh, now I want more of them. 🙂
Super-cute! I thought of plants as well but when he’s older he might eat them 🙂
I love the bathroom idea!
Very cute.
It’s adorable.
