Maybe we didn’t plan on getting a table this weekend, but we needed a place to put that very cool centerpiece that the Button’s got us for Christmas. Maybe we weren’t even seriously shopping for a table, but the Button’s introduced us to Craig’s list and well, we saw it. Yes, I blame the Button’s. And since they are to blame I think we need to invite them over for dinner and make them pay for their influence over us. Maybe some Jambalaya would be nice. I wouldn’t want them to make the drive without some incentive beyond a table to eat on.
Of course this opens up a completely new can of worms in regard to decor and what we want this room to ultimately look like but I won’t blame them for that. I mean, they can’t help it that they’re so inspirational. However, if any of you reading this blog come over and I haven’t completed the room or something looks somehow unfinished…please feel free to blame the Button’s.
I typically don’t read blogs at work, but today I made an exception and I’m glad I did. Let me just say I am thrilled that you and Kris like the candle centerpiece so much. We hoped, of course, that you two would really like the gift– we never expected you to buy furniture to showcase it! Yes, blame us, then. While you’re at it, let us know when we can do our penance by coming over and eating Jambalaya on the new table. 🙂
That is a great set!!! I love it! Well, I’m glad to take the blame for such a nice looking set, and if I had room for it at my house I’d totally have one of those candle things.
Actually, we got a new table set this weekend too. It’s much smaller though and was from my grandmother so you’ll be seeing our old set on Craig’s List today.
very nice! I am going to google Craig’s list.
Yay. It looks to be very stylish and I’m sure you’ll do a fabulous job of decorating like you always do. I wondered what you were searching for on craigslist when you e-mailed me that flooring listing. 🙂 Just be careful, I think it can be addicting (right, Amy?) 🙂
Actually, Kris is the culprit. He sends me at least two links a day to see what I think.
Yes, I admit it – I browse Craigslist almost daily. I blame the Buttons as well.
Blame the Buttons… That sounds like a really funny sitcom. Or maybe a party game. Hey! Let’s play Blame the Buttons! You shuffle the cards– I’ll find the scorepads. Whoo-hoo!
