Twas the Day After Christmas

Owen and GranddaddyTwas the day after Christmas and all through the house…

The sounds of toys and laughter still ring as Owen is enjoying his new train set and Grandma and Granddaddy and Me-ma are still enjoying Owen. Kris and I are trying to get some rest with Owen and Ivan in our room and Ivan is just enjoying all the attention. We had a very nice Christmas Day and we are enjoying having family here. I’m so glad to have had the baby early and feel so healed and energetic now that Christmas has arrived. Ivan is eating well and we are all enjoying him as he gets to know the outside world more each day. I can’t believe he will be a month old on Thursday. Time has already flown so rapidly I am anxious to hold on to each day.

Working with and around the weather we are making plans for our week and making sure to spend plenty of time just sitting around the table together playing games or visiting. The boys supply us ample conversation. Kris posted several pictures of Christmas day on his blog and I’ll let you look at those instead of trying to do the same here.

I’m hoping to do a little visiting with friends and do some of the activities I don’t take time to do normally while we have family here. They will be gone too soon, but then Tim and Kristy will arrive with their boys and we will begin again with Christmas in January. So much to do, so much to say, and so much to look forward to. I love Christmas.
