Houses

We own two houses. I am pulling weeds in flower beds at the new house today. I’ll go out in the heat with gloves on because the black mulch would stain my hands. It’s going to look so good when it’s done. They had someone plant some very nice flowers and things around the front of the house but they are hard to see for all the weeds that have been growing up for what would appear to be months.

Tomorrow I’ll go to the other house (we are trying to sell) and mow the lawn, front and back, and pull weeds in that flower bed. I’ll also have to sweep off the entrances and make it look somewhat welcoming. Maybe I should get a babysitter for poor Owen tomorrow.

I’m going to feel so good when this is done.

For those of you who pray…pray that the neighbor’s lawnmower is self-propelled. I’m borrowing it tomorrow to cut the grass at the old house.

  1. I wish I was there to keep Owen for ya. Pace yourself and enjoy. It sure is pretty. I am praying for a buyer.

  2. Hey, just some unsolicited advice…

I was looking online at your house and noticed that there were no inside pics. The house is great on the inside, wood floors, new paint, etc., but you can’t see that. I’m trying to think of anyone I know to buy and until then I’ll help you pray.

I’d keep Owen for you if I could…

  3. Thanks for the advise Amy, I thought about that too, but didn’t know if it was more trouble for Elaine or more expence or any of that. Maybe when I go over there I’ll take the camera and get a few shots and see if she can use them.

I called Tisra and she will watch Owen for me in the morning.
