Lest I put this off too long and forget about it…
A wide eyed young lady named Rhonda,
Wished to cram all her friends in her Honda.
The stunt was a go,
Till she let them all know,
She’s including her pet anaconda.
And to be sure and give thanks to our newly-wed friend Becky who in last week’s limerick absence composed one for me…
A quite marvelous woman named Mary,
Can’t let head pain make her contrary.
She stayed busy indeed,
Things to sew, kids to feed,
And hoped that head pain would not tarry.
Isn’t she sweet?
That headache did go away before my entire day was spent and I’m oh so glad.
This day is a bit off kilter some how. Nothing wrong really (the weather is in fact DEVINE)…I just keep walking uphill it seems. I am due for a nap…it’s been too long. I think that a nap, even more than washing this counter full of dishes, vacuuming this long forgotten carpet, or de-cluttering, would set this day right for me.
I’m going to see if I’m right about that.
Oh, I do hope your nap attempt was successful and that your day is a little more, um, on kilter. Sometimes, that’s the only course of action to take!
A nap makes *everything* better.
I was going to say “naps make everything better” but Amy beat me to it…
It did make everything better. While the clutter and mess did not go away…it seemed to have become conquerable once I had rested myself for 45 minutes.
