Everyday Life

Kristy

I said that I would post information on my sister once I had more information. I am working on that. She is home safe. She and her family landed at home in Slovenia right when their original schedule had predicted. They were in the midst of horrible destruction and death and were perfectly protected by God. Every little decision they made leading up to the tsunami seemed to be the super-natural hand of God leading them as they look back. Kristy told me that before they left on the trip she had this “feeling” if you will, that something bad was going to happen. Not necessarily to them, but that they would end up in the middle of something they didn’t want to be in the middle of. Of course she didn’t predict the death of 100’s of thousands of people by a giant tidal wave, I doubt she thought whatever it was would span farther than Thailand where they were staying. Regardless, I suppose God warns us at times of things to be prayerful over. Maybe not the whole story or we wouldn’t go forward, but enough to get us praying for His protection and His direction. I don’t know how many lives they touched and if I could go back and keep them from going I probably would, but I know that God used them while they were there and they prayed for so many and helped heal wounds inside and out. I’m still in awe that a family of 6 adults and a baby were all spared in a tragedy that separated so many parents and children. God truly watched over them.

I set up a rough page on the web with the e-mails that we have received from the Halls. If you would like to read them please click here.

  1. Thanks so much for sharing the emails and the story by Tim’s mom. Wow, it made it very real to me. So glad all of them are safe.
