Everyday Life

Mom to Three

One of me
Yet mom to three
all wants are mine
all hurts, all fears
boo boos, questions
needs and “why?”
knock, knock jokes
sing alongs
accidents
right and wrong
teaching
forgiving
hiding
seeking
tickles, faces
muscles, giggles
sunburns
“watch this”
grass and bare feet
smells and smiles
dirty elbows
tired and sweet
stretching
listening
prioritizing
punches
tattles
spankings
tears
“can I?”, “will you?”
“Let me!”
“me too!”
Bedtime prayers
lunchtime feuds
morning breath
night, night kisses
prayer without ceasing
love without asking
I am a mom to three
There’s only one of me

  1. I’m just really getting into this blog thing and I decided to turn a boring day at work into a fun day reading your blog! It is so funny and I love everything you write. I especially love all the pictures of the boys 🙂

  2. Love that! Nicely put. You are definitely in the trenches, but what you are making of it is beautiful.
