Tooth number three has made it’s appearance in Owen’s mouth. Once again he showed no signs of anything really bothering him except for three recent blow-outs in his diaper. Or should I say…out of his diaper. Two of these blow-outs, by the way, happened while in the church nursery so I miraculously avoided clean-up. They bagged up his dirty clothes, put him in fresh ones and handed me the bag which easily dumped into the washing machine without ever touching my tender skin. I don’t know if these episodes were related to his teething or just a sign that he ate some bad fish somehow. Anyway…it’s the upper front tooth on the right side. I’m sure the little lefty will be coming out to join him soon.
Kris’ Grandma Kelso and aunt Cindy are in town and we had a really nice day yesterday. They are staying with Kris’ aunt Gloria who lives in Nashville as well. The 6 of us drove down the Natchez Trace to some property that another Kelso relative owns yesterday and had a picnic on their back porch. The weather was perfect. We had a really nice time and then stopped in Franklin to walk around The Factory a little bit. There are some unique stores there, even some things that Kris enjoyed. We made one last stop before heading home at the Maggie Moo’s in Cool Springs. Kris and I both got blueberry ice cream his mixed with granola and mine mixed with strawberry…very, very good!
Today we went to the dentist for our 6 month cleanings and Kris went on to work from there while I came home and fed Owen Second Breakfast. Now he’s fighting off napping while I type. It’s a great combination.
Oh…today is the first day of Autumn I believe. Correct me if I’m wrong, I think I heard that on the news while I was in the chair at the dentist office. It’s a beautiful day.
Yes, Autum officially began at 11:30 AM CDT. I’m not sure why it starts at such an odd time…
Yeah, funny that at 11:29 it’s still summer and then 11:30 it’s fall. I wish it felt like fall today; it’s supposed to be 85 according to the weather channel.
