It’s About Time to Update

It’s a lovely Saturday. I haven’t been outside to enjoy the weather but I’ve sure enjoyed the sunshine that has poured in through the windows. Owen just got up from a nap and Ivan is blissfully overcome with sleep still. Kris ran some errands a while ago and I got a couple of good pictures of Ivan. I wanted to take some of Owen too as he is running around up here with a big sombrero on his head, but the battery on the camera died before I could get to it. Oh well, maybe later.

Getting ChubbyWe’ve had a good week here. I’ve gotten a little cleaning done and kept up with laundry pretty well. I’ve exercised twice this week. I know that’s not what I said I would do, and I am not proud of it but at least I did some. I will do better this coming week. Eric and Tisra returned from England this week and I was able to hang out and chat with Tisra on Thursday morning over scones and tea. Wonderful. She is a gem of a friend and I’m glad to have her back on our side of the pond. We invited their family over for dinner last night and had a good time despite the whiney boys upstairs in the playroom. They did very well actually, when you consider how tired they all were. Owen was especially dramatic but that just comes with being two. Thank God they are so cute.

Tomorrow is church and I will be trying to get ready tonight as much as possible. Bathing the boys, preparing as much as I can for lunch and getting the kitchen nice and clean just in case we decide to invite someone over. It’s strange to know there will be no football watching this weekend. I’ve really begun to look forward to curling up next to Kris to watch a game to two on Sunday afternoons. One more game and we’re done until Fall.

I wish I had more exciting things to write about but I don’t. I’ll post another picture of Ivan, who is now 12 lbs.

  1. 12 whole pounds. What a pumpkin. Having nothing much to write about can be a good thing. Not much drama! Usually a good thing.
