A Limerick,
by Mary Kelso
There once was a man named Brown
Who was born with his nose upside down
It was great in the pool
He could swim like a fool
In the shower was where the man drown
A soul that walks on water leaves no footprints, but will make waves."

That is perfect! My friend Mary “The clever one”!
HA! I like it. Very cute. 😀
You should write a bunch of cute limmericks and have someone illustrate them. Maybe publish a children’s book. 🙂 Or just make a book for Owen to enjoy.
2 1/4 c of flour? that is a strange measurement for choc. chip cookies. Which reminds me, my husband wants rice crispy treats. Better get on that. I like the limmerick. Is this a regular feature of your blog? Or just random?
Slow news day??
I love Mary’s dad!
It is rarely a slow news day, and when you are inspired to write a limerick…you just have to write a limerick. I can’t explain it.
I almost responded to Tisra’s comment with…”you want him?” But then I thought he might be sensative so I didn’t.
There once was a man named Harry
Who had him a daughter named Mary
He taught her with pride
How to kid and to chide
Yet he frowned when he found her contrary
There once was a gal named Michelle,
Who thought Mary’s rhyme was quite swell.
Inspired and silly
To write willy-nilly
A limmerick??
Okay I can’t think of a good last line. AAAH!
