I took my “Do Not Disturb” sign down for the summer and my quiet has officially been “Disturbed”.
This week is VBS and the boys and I are all four committed to being at the church every morning. Add that to the regular activities of summer, like lots of working and playing outside, Karate practice, a sewing project that won’t come easy, a little time at the pool and of course the job of being homemaker and I have little time left to write this week.
So I am allowing myself to be ruffled, shifted, twisted, nudged off kilter and otherwise swimming in a healthy disturbance, and I am sure that I will be better for it.
The really hard to swallow part of this, is that the whole idea of being “disturbed” has my head swimming with writing ideas. There is such a wonderful lesson in this idea…but I must not get carried away…yet.
See you next week!
I COMPLETELY hear you GIRL!!!! 🙂 Feeling the same way over here!
Since my girls are home all the time I forget that it’s not that way for everybody. Rushing out the door in the morning during summer wouldn’t be very welcome over here. I pray that your effort is blessed abundantly.
