Voting Results are in. This is not a democratic system by the way. Majority doesn’t rule. In fact I may use the results to create an entirely new design that will reflect a few of the ideas that had the highest votes. Not sure yet. I had a favorite going in and it did not receive the most votes. As my vote counts for like 5 of everyone else’s I may still stick with that. We’ll see.
I did get what I wanted though. Affirmation. You guys are awesome for voting and I love hearing what you think. I’ll give you the results now in order of your preferences.
With 6 votes, #4, Funky Tree Branch came in first.
The next four graphics each received 4 votes:
1) The Sewing Room
2) Yellow (this was the sewing room at our previous house)
9) More Fabric Than You Can Shake a Stick At
10) Home
These two graphics each received three votes. Number 8 was actually my favorite so it will still be way up there on my list of options.
5) Sci-Fi Flower
8) Faded Fabric
These three each received two votes. I find it humorous that they were each numbered with a .5 and all received the same amount of votes.
1.5) The Sewing Room Also
6.5) Going Green as a Conservative
8.5) Not So Faded Fabric
Coming in with one vote is one of my early ideas, #7, Bubbly.
And not surprisingly, these graphics received no votes. I didn’t really like them very much either.
3) Peachy Leaves
6) Going Green
Here’s the thing I thought of as I was about to publish this. Just because one design got the most votes, doesn’t mean it’s the favorite. It could have been 6 people’s second choice, making it the most voted for, but not the most liked. Hmmm. I’ll have to look back through your comments and see how many of you prioritized your votes and what that reveals. Not because I’m going to do what you want, but because now I’m obsessed with accurate results.
