I tried to warn Eleanor Boyson,
Not to water, not even to moisten,
But she went her own way,
And now rues the day,
That she gardened in ivy of poison.
Guess who stepped in it? That’s right…I am living the doom of Eleanor Boyson this week and for some time beyond. Monday…I took that lovely photo of the bee buzzing around the dogwood. I must have stepped in some poison ivy while on my trek up or down the hill and upon removing my shoe, got it on my hand which I must have used to scratch my face. I’m so pretty right now.
I do have an appointment to see the doctor this morning, because it is just too much in my eye and I don’t want things to become intolerable. Thankfully, though irritating, I have been able to function and haven’t been unable to keep from itching this week. Vinegar and baking soda paste helped a lot at first but we have reached a stage in the process that is a bit more difficult and I think it’s time to seek professional help.
OUCH! Hope you get rid of it soon!
Oh no! I have a friend that lives in the woods and there’s some soap that she gets for it. I can’t remember what it’s called. Hopefully though the doctor has some heavy duty stuff for it.
I sure hope it clears up soon! I am praying today!
EEK! I noticed the poison ivy creates double negatives too! EWWW. It’s really gotten a hold of you 🙂
Seriously . . . feel better. That can’t be fun! 🙁
Yes, the double negatives were flowing and I almost corrected them but the emphasis just wasn’t there without them. 🙂
