There are baskets in the corner full of fresh and untouched bouquets of fabric pastels and contrasting darks.
There are bowls on the counter bearing colorful reminders and boasting of a healthy morning banquet.
There are blankets unfolded in their most natural position against cushions which lean more toward comfort than pattern or symmetry.
There are mirrors and faucets diffused with a delicate lace of minty water spots.
There are soft carpets holding fast to the colorful rain of yesterday’s adventures.
These things, now that I see them more clearly, will wait just a little longer for my time.
They all sound so lovely – it must be difficult to resist 😉
I’m definitely in support of making those things wait.
Can you PLEASE come make poetry of my mess????? So beautiful, Mary. It’s all a matter of perspective, huh? I life lived fully is so rarely pristine, and THAT is what makes it beautiful!
a beautiful way to look at it!
If every mom would do this Mary, can you imagine? It’s all about perspective.
Love this Mary! So much to be thankful for:) I especially love “holding fast to the colorful rain of yesterday’s adventures.” Just beautiful~
