The moon was pretty super the other night. I wasn’t able to get out with a camera on the full moon but I decided to check it out the next night and it was still worth the effort. It may not be super…maybe more of a “Trusty Side Kick” moon. Regardless, when I’m in a situation like this I mourn my lack of camera knowledge. I do sorta like a few of them though.
Not sure what happened here…but somehow I was fascinated by it. It’s flat when it’s completely out of focus. My mind whirls with spiritual analogies.
Now just in case you are wondering…I wasn’t able to zoom in this close with the camera. Below is the same picture as above before I cropped it…and that’s all I did, crop and publish at 100% size…or whatever an intelligent person would say.
While I’m sharing pictures I’ll post a couple of my lilacs too. Last May for mother’s day Kris let me pick out some plant life and I’m really pleased with this one so far. Baby lilacs are showing!
I’m glad you decided to share 🙂 I like them!
I also like your lilacs. That’s one thing I really wish would grow down here. Lilacs are a childhood favorite of mine.
I really love the pictures. And I’m interested in your thoughts on the lilac. I know Tisra isn’t a fan because they bloom once and they’re done. Does yours re-bloom?
I think it only blooms once. I am honestly unsure of what type I have even because it wasn’t blooming when we purchased it, but that isn’t really an issue for me. It’s a favorite from childhood and the one I remember only bloomed once but I LOVED when it did. I guess it made that short season of blooms that much more special. The rest of the time it was a large round bush. Nothing special, but not ugly, so I won’t mind that it’s only once.
