I have one cushion cover replaced. It’s not professional grade…there are a lot of errors…but I like it. I really do. I feel pretty proud of myself actually.

You *should* be proud! That is gorgeous work!
I can’t tell you how much I love this! So excited to see it done. Good job, Mary!
Wow Mary! You are so talented and I don’t see one error:) Love the fabrics and paint color too!
Those colors and fabrics are so much fun while still being sophisticated! Well done, Mary! YOU are the only one who will notice the “imperfections” you speak of…. so don’t point them out. 🙂 Can’t wait to see the whole thing. Where are you going to put it?
Tisra – It’s going to stay right where it is…on the back porch. 🙂 I am using outdoor fabrics, and one day I’m hoping I can replace the foam cushions with the kind that are for outdoor furniture. They are VERY expensive. We’ll see how we like the whole thing before investing in those. In the mean time it is tucked up against the wall nicely and unless the rain comes straight in from the North…not likely…it will stay dry. I have wanted something out there that I can lie down on since we moved.
I was thinking about that…. that it would be perfect for outdoors. And, yes, I absolutely remember your desire for a porch bed. This looks like a PERFECT compromise (if you can call a very chic looking couch a compromise!). Now, to just have a kid-free day to lounge on the porch crocheting or reading, right? Do Aron and Ivan still nap? You *might* be golden when Owen returns to class! 🙂
When can I come up there, anyway? I know you’ve got a trip approaching. Same goes for having you guys for dinner. My summer is fast approaching its end.
I love it. I’ve recovered cushions like that before and it’s NOT EASY. Looks like you’ve done an awesome job of it.
looks great!
