Picturific

This will be a series of catch up in pictures posts. I get so far behind when I take pictures because of the labor intensive process of posting them. I always feel like I should be doing something else. I have a lot of them so buckle up. My dishes and floors are waiting patiently…funny how they never get impatient…I do.

I have a few pictures from Memorial Day weekend that were a lot of fun. Like many of you we did some of the relaxing things we don’t usually allow ourselves and ate a few things that aren’t typically on the menu. Watermelon being one of them. This is one of my favorite shots. It isn’t summer until there’s watermelon juice staining the elastic band of your underwear.

Big yawn!!! Aron and his kids as he has begun calling them. He told me he’s a dad and Piglet and Pillow (the name of his little cat) are his kids.

We ate ice cream at Marble Slab in Mt. Juliet one evening. Look how yummy.

The boys all took such sweet naps after having so much fun and I just love this picture for the way it makes me feel. Lots of cotton, shrouded windows and innocence.

The boys love to bring me “flowers.” Especially Ivan, who brought fistfuls of these clover blooms to me one afternoon.

I’ve posted a little about what we’ve been up to since then. Owen’s field day was a big hit despite the cold weather and as I was there at the school with him he was given permission to leave early with me and the little brothers which opened the opportunity for a trip to the zoo.
