Uncomfortable

A stout little man named Purdue,
Had a problem it seemed with his shoe.
A pebble or bean,
Something small and unseen,
Found a hole and had somehow got through.

I’m looking forward to what comes today. The sun is out and things are looking so pretty outside. I am having a friend over at lunch time and I hope that we might even be able to enjoy our lunch on the porch. I don’t have a table but laps hold lunches too.

We are all very tired around here. We had Wednesday night church and Thursday night ministry dinner this week so we have been up late both nights. Ivan looked at me over breakfast and said, “mom, I didn’t get enough sleep.” You know it’s bad when you’re four year old is practically begging for a nap. I hope they do take good naps today while my friend is here. I’m planning to help her set up a blog for herself. She is a bit intimidated by the computer so I’m going to walk her through it and hopefully set her up with some custom graphics for her header if we have time.

For now the boys are playing so well upstairs and I already have a lot of cleaning done, so I’ll just straighten what’s left and get ready to enjoy what comes.
