The other day…Friday to be exact…I wrote the following in my journal:
The Lord is my guide, leader, caretaker, and healer.
I’m provided for before I know my need.
He puts me into a position of dependence and lavishes me with supply.
He knows all the best places where I can be refreshed and fulfilled.
He counsels, encourages and heals.
He is not impressed with shortcuts, speed or hurting other people.
His interest is integrity to His Father
His path doesn’t avoid hard times.
But I can always walk without trembling or falling, because I’m with Him, and He is on my side.
He has power, authority and influence.
I feel safe under His protection.
There are bountiful and nourishing opportunities before me that those outside His care can see but cannot grasp.
It is obvious that I am crowned with favor.
The blessings never cease in my life.
There is no doubt that good and honorable things, compassionate and forgiving things will be a part of everything I’m involved in.
My life will be encased in His constant care and protection. I will abide in His attention and survive under His vast supply of love forever.
That is what I love about the 23rd Psalm.
I love it too. That makes me love it a even more.
Me too!
Me three!
