Thank you so much for your care for my family while I was away. I know that though you did enjoy the company of the boys and were able to attend memorable events like Grandparents day and Owen’s birthday party, it was a less relaxing visit than some of those in the past.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your sacrifice in driving long distances to be with our family. I know that not every child has a grandparent who is so willing. I know that not every wife has a mother-in-law so encouraging. I thank you truly for desiring to have a relationship with all of us that is meaningful and lasting.
We are blessed to be family together with you.
Love,
Mary
PS – Does anything else in this cabinet make you think it’s where we keep sippy cups? And did you know that I would jump out of my skin when I opened this cabinet and saw Batman looking down threateningly at me? Just curious.
Sweet…and funny! You’re very blessed to have a M-I-L like that 🙂
Ha!!!!
Yes, you are one lucky gal!
mary, that was very sweet; first you made me cry, then you made me laugh! However, i must tell you that i was not the guilty party – i washed it but i did not put it away. i have deduced that meemaw was the culprit! now you have to do a column for her!
She does sound like a sweet lady. And I can say I appreciate her help in your family being able to share you for the weekend!
