My list was super duper long this morning but I tackled it and did everything on it except…the powder room. The little bathroom that could will have to wait until tomorrow, or the next day or the next. Who knows. My lists are long all week.
I am pleased with my work and will tackle tomorrow’s to dos with greater confidence.
Owen was so excited to get back to school. I think it was more to get back to Mrs. Marilyn, but I was excited with his excitement no matter where it was directed. He loves his teacher. What could be better?
Ivan and I worked on potty training with new perspective today. Instead of trying to coach him through every move, I am trying to give him some motivation toward independence. He can do so much more than he is willing to do. I think having a baby brother who takes my attention is increasing his desire to have my help with almost everything. I’ve got to get him to want to be a big boy.
Kris got home a little late tonight but he was free once he got home which is such a bonus. He played with the boys and I cleaned the kitchen in peace. Now he’s putting them to bed and I am blogging. I won’t be here long though.
I need to go give them kisses.
I’m so glad you’re getting back into routine. Don’t kill yourself, though. I have a feeling that you make the kinds of “hopeful” lists that I do, where it would take each moment of the day running perfectly to accomplish every task outlined. And we all know that life with three kids makes “running perfectly” a ridiculous goal. I know. I’m washing a futon cover that my nearly 4 year old just wet and she hasn’t had a potty accident in about 9 months! And sometimes, the list has to go out the window just because God sends a great day of blissful weather our way that begs to be inhaled! Take care and we’ll have to catch up at some point. Love, T
Poor Ivan. That middle child spot can be tough.
Sounds like you are zinging away on your to-dos, even if they do feel a little overwhelming sometimes. I’m glad that it seems like you’re settling…
And how great that Owen loves his teacher!
Yay for a productive day! I’m so glad that Owen loves going to school, it makes some things so much easier.
