So I’ve been tagged to share a top 8 list for a few different topics. Here goes. The order they are listed is not necessarily in ranking order.

8 things that happened yesterday
1. I went to church
2. I talked too much in Sunday School
3. I cried during the alter service because there were so many hurting people who admitted they were hurting people.
4. I ate a great lunch at Famous Dave’s Barbecue.
5. The Titan’s beat the Chiefs without question.
6. I sat on the back porch and downloaded photos from my camera.
7. I met my next door neighbor.
8. I went to bed early.

1. The downtown Hilton in Sacramento California (assuming the restaurant is still there)

3. Baja Burrito
4. my house/with my family
5. Monell’s

7. The Melting Pot
8. At sewing parties with my friends…I know some good cooks.

1. The Office
2. Titan’s football

5. Extreme Makeover Home Edition

8 things I’m looking forward to
1. Heaven
2. Owen reading books to himself
3. Ivan completely potty trained
4. Our trip to Michigan next week
5. Ivan’s birthday
6. Christmas
7. Getting a renter for our old house
8. The elections being over.

8 things on my wishlist
1. I wish I had an Oscar Meyer Weiner
2. I wish I could eat ice cream and lose weight at the same time.
3. I wish I had a quilt set up
4. I wish I had time to quilt
5. I wish didn’t have to drive a mini-van
6. I wish my house were painted inside
7. I wish my husband could see my vision for a bed on the back porch

    I wish I didn’t have to drive a mini van either. I’d much rather have a lime green VW bug convertible 🙂 Our kids will be grown one day, right?

  2. I absolutely LOVE the bed on the porch idea. Kris may not like it, but I bet if it were there, he’d like using it:) I vote for putting it in, then I can come sit there to read a book until I fall asleep for a nap. If you build it, they will come! haha
