Things Seem Better

Everyone is fine today and we have hit Monday with our helmets on and our shoulders down. I heard a cry from Ivan before 5:30 and when I went to see what was wrong he asked me to sleep with him. The alarm was about to go off anyway so I laid down beside him and soon Owen wanted the same companionship. We snuggled together all three until it was time to go downstairs.

Our early start enabled me to get a load of laundry started before we left for school and now the kitchen is half-way disassembled and a second load is whirling and twirling in the machine. Ivan is playing with puzzles…not a trace of sickness after his bout yesterday morning and Aron is playing, crying, playing, crying, playing.

The woes of the weekend worries are seemingly behind us and if all goes well…Kris will not be touched by nasty tummy bugs.

I must go and meld into my cardboard and packing tape world for yet a little longer.

  1. We are mending over here too. Emma was headachy this morning but is some better now. I still am not feeling “right”. I managed to get the kitchen and bathroom floors mopped regardless!

  2. Where is your That Was Easy post? I read it in my Bloglines feed and came here to comment but it is gone. I hope you didn’t delete it. I read it and I really needed what you said in it.

I had another battle with Gabriel tonight. They just seem to get worse and worse, and I am to the point where I just don’t know what I am going to do with him anymore. Nothing happens without a huge fight, and I can’t help but think that I am not doing anything right by him. So it was good to read what you wrote. I still don’t know what I’m going to do at this point, but I know that with every new challenge, there is a way out of it.
