I can’t get no…
I am caught up again. In search of a pat on the back, or a little nod in my direction. Feel free to placate me…I enjoy it even when it’s insincere.
I think it’s because Kris has been feeling bad. I rely on him for a lot of encouragement and when he’s down he doesn’t talk much.
So…if any of you have a minute to say something like, “wow, you look good in that big thick robe Mary!”, or “I wish I could work in my kitchen when it’s that messy like you do!”, or how about “You look good enough to go to Walmart with your hair pulled back like that.” As long as it sounds encouraging I’m all for it.
On a more serious note…I am glad it’s Friday. I’m hoping that Kris will have a restful weekend and add strength to recovery and that my boys will be up for some fun. My dad is still here until Monday and I feel like we’ve just survived instead of enjoyed his visit. So…onward and upward…whatever that means.

Well, you have succeeded in making me cry and then laugh in 5 minutes time. I caught up on the last 2 weeks. Sorry for the rough times. I feel your pain. If I were you, I’d get Kris over to Howard!!!

You do work so hard…and the stage your kids are in is just the hardest stage. You are amazing – and it does get better from here on out. Mostly 🙂
