Kris has been feeling a lot better today and yesterday. He taught Sunday school this morning which did make him a little tired but he recovered quickly. He said yesterday that the pain was about 45% of what it was on Friday. I’m sure he’ll be back to normal soon.

I finished another “painting” today. I did the background yesterday. I actually felt pretty good about my color mixing this time. I learned a little bit from last time and used more paint initially and less to mix in. At first I thought the color was way off but as soon as I started brushing it on I liked it.

I stayed home from church today because the boys are still dealing with fevers. Owen especially seems to be hit hard. He’s been on the couch almost all day. Thankfully he loves liquids. He wanted to drink his hot/warm tea, his Sprite and his juice all at the same time. Three drinks at once with a little toast. Anyway…since I stayed home I spent part of my morning working on this second piece. I had to cut most of the “hairs” off of my smallest paintbrush in order to make narrow lines. I’m sure I could buy a brush that small but that would mean leaving the house.
