I really have nothing to blog about. The boys are eating breakfast and Ivan is unhappy with the banana he chose and trying to convince me to give him some Cheerios. Until the banana is eaten however, I am unconvinced that hunger is his real motivation for asking for more. So…the banana gets thrown on the floor and Ivan goes without. Tisra and I have made tentative plans to go to the zoo today but I am unsure if the weather will accommodate our little trip. If not, I have a lot of cleaning to do. A lot of cleaning. I have been “going” a lot and worn myself out each morning, which tends to keep me still during the afternoon. However, I can’t let that happen again. I am way behind. The playroom is looking like tornado fodder and the pile of clean clothes on the chair in my bedroom is rivaling the supply in my closet. I got some mopping done downstairs last night, and have a pretty clean slate in general on that floor so that will help get me going today. Even if I go to the zoo, I will clean today. I’ll allow myself 30 minutes of nap time if possible and then, I’m off to the races.
I am still ahead of schedule with my seminar projects and that feels good. There are a few things I need to catch up on for a fund-raiser I’m helping with for Brent Gambrell Ministies but I was waiting for more information. I think I got what I need yesterday in the mail so I’ll take a stab at that again today. I also have more writing due at the end of this month for Night of Laughter so I’m going to really pursue that on Monday. And there’s an unfinished quilt that I promised a little baby who is now three months old. Must get stitching! I can’t find my needles…which brings me back to that cleaning rant.
