Seen From The Dining Room Window

the perfect neighborYes, this was taken today and no, we don’t live in Florida. My neighbor with the perfect lawn is mowing. Can you imagine having a green enough lawn that you would have to mow it this early in the year? Wow!

What’s worse…the one neighbor with the perfect lawn that makes everyone else’s look like poo…or the one neighbor with the horrible grass, completely trampled by their three dogs and cluttered with huge tacky lawn ornaments that makes the whole neighborhood look like poo? Hmmm? I guess I prefer the perfect lawn even if it does make mine look bad, at least I can watch them for pointers.

The face of my neighbor and his dog have been blurred to protect their privacy. I was really hoping they wouldn’t see me crouching in my window to snap a picture of their lunacy.

  1. HA HA HA
I hope they don’t find your blog!!! And I think that is hilarious that you were crouching and taking the photo!!
Now, not only does their lawn look perfect, but what about the garage??? PERFECTO BABY!! And they had some expensive floor put down in there last year…And they have a pool…but ya know, only he has kids which are grown, they both work and drive older Honda’s which I imagine are paid for, so I think they are doing pretty good! I think it is so sweet to see both of them out there working together on their lawn and I definitely need pointers too. Oh and did you see him on that Saturday we had snow and it was FREEZING, he was going out there to cut TILE, which requires a WET saw!!! I couldn’t believe it!
This post has me laughing so hard…mostly because I see what you see!

  2. That is too funny! My neighbor was mowing yesterday too. However, I think my nieghbor was bored. He hasn’t worked since Barret got sick. His lawn didn’t need mowing. Your neighbor’s lawn looks beautiful!

  3. Sheri, I thought you might appreciate this one. I have made the same observations from the wet saw to the Honda’s. I too, think it’s sweet and look on with a twinge of jealousy when I see them out their working together.

They work hard and spend a lot of money for that beautiful lawn.
