Kathy Williams (my midwife) came again today and everyone is doing well. Baby Ivan was all balled up and sticking something out into the air like a large tumor coming from my abdomen so we got some good laughs out of that. I’m measuring right on track and although everything is fine…I was reminded that I need to drink more water. I’ve had 20 oz. today already but I should be drinking about 64 oz. so I’m not even a 3rd of the way there. I need to buckle down.
Owen is still limping and I got a little worried this morning because I thought he hurt it again. I had gone downstairs after changing a nasty diaper and had just told him that if he wanted his Woody doll he was welcome to climb up on his bed and get it. While downstairs I heard very loud crying coming from his room (the hurt cry) so I ran upstairs (yes, I do mean ran) and found him sitting on his floor right by his bed, Woody in hand. I think he slid out of his bed and landed on his foot in some way that irritated the sprain. He’s up and running again so I guess it wasn’t too bad but I probably should have gotten his doll for him instead of encouraging him to climb around…duh.
We set him up in front of the computer to watch “Piglet’s Big Movie” and I rocked Joey to sleep and then Kathy showed up. So Kris and I were able to have a very quiet and uninterrupted appointment with her while the boys were busy.
Today has it’s list and I have my pen ready to begin crossing things off. The bed is made and the kitchen is in pretty good shape (except for the floor) so I feel like I’m ahead of the game already. Once I start some laundry and take on a bathroom or the vacuum I’ll be absolutely beaming with pride.
Awwww…glad little Ivan is growing so nicely. Soon soon soon. 🙂
Get that laundry done girl or I’ll have you beat. Seeing as how I have the capabilities now. 😀 Wheeee!
Hmm now I need dressers…LOL
We have that movie too. It’s one of Clay’s favorites. His new thing to do is stick an index finger up in the air and say, “A-ha!”
Kristy – LOL. Too funny.
