Owen has been playing with his blanket more lately. He has always preferred his little fleece checked blanket to the others but has never had a nickname for it or a really acted dependant on it. Once in a while he will specifically ask for it when going to bed. I’ve never had a problem with it and as long as it isn’t too nasty from all the use, I oblige him. The other night, Kris was working late and I allowed Owen to watch “Pooh” on my computer. I checked in on him and he had the blanket all up over his head. It was so cute. I snapped a picture and he immediately announced it was his hat. I think he got this from when his Granddaddy was here and was making a hat out of it for him.
Yesterday, I put him down for a nap and I have stopped trying to cover him because he always kicks his covers off. However, when I checked in on him this particular time he had tucked himself in with this favorite blanket and with his “Woody-Bullseye” (these must be said together as one word) all in the crook of his arm. It looked so boyish and cute to me. I had to post it.
Aaawwww. I love little boys. They’re so sweet and special.
He really is adorable. Doing new stuff all the time. I reaaalllyyy miss him!
Thanks for the pics!
The “hat” picture immediately reminded me of that Charlie Brown Christmas special where Linus didn’t want to give up his blanket while being in the Christmas play, so he put it on his head to make himself a shepherd.
On the cuteness meter he is off the chart. Oh my that little face! Can he marry Bella?
Owen’s really cute there, but Woody does not look comfortable at all. Look at him, desperately reaching for Bullseye to help. Sad.
