We sound funny here at the Kelso house. Owen still has a soft scratchy sound to his voice and Kris and I are baritone and bass today. We should record ourselves.
I think we are all beginning to feel better, although I am extremely tired this morning. I will chalk that up to pregnancy though. Joey got sick too so he is coming in late today. His daddy took him to the doctor this morning and he’s hoping to have him here by around 10:00. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s later than that because so many people are sick right now, I’m sure that doctor visits are pretty prevalent.
I’m doing well on the quilt. Yesterday I was able to get through half of the first block (on the last row) and already this morning I’ve nearly finished that one. At this rate I am well on my way to my goal. However…this rate is partially due to an inactive household, so I’m trying to just make hay while the sun shines and get as much done as possible knowing that tomorrow may be quite different than today.
I need to do a lot of laundry. Sheets and pillowcases, and the like, need to be cleaned and fresh so that we can sleep knowing we aren’t re-infecting ourselves. The carpets are atrocious around here too. I have not been a very good housekeeper lately and I’m considering hiring a maid. Know anyone who would work for nothing?
I would like to take a walk today and if I’m going to do it…now is the time. If I wait…I’ll have Joey and it will be too hot. It may be too hot already but it’s worth a shot. I need some fresh air!
I don’t have much to do these days. Once I get my driver license situation fixed, if you ever need help, just give me a call and Gabe and I will come over and help ya clean. Hopefully it will be helpful especially in the late pregnancy days.
I’m doing the laundry, “cleansing the house of infection” thing today, too! Everyone we know is sick. This is awful!
STAY AWAY FROM BURR OAK
Yes, we too are coming off of a sick weekend. Emma’s 72 hour fever broke sometime late yesterday afternoon. Time to start deep cleaning!
