Well the kitchen is painted. I am so glad to have it done and although I’m slightly disappointed in the color, I like it very much overall. As offered, Tisra watched Owen for me this morning and allowed me to work nonstop until I had to have some lunch. I was able to finish painting first and then eat and then get everything cleaned up and put away before going to get Owen.
Owen had a good time at the Fadely’s. He devoured his lunch and followed the big boys around quite a bit. I told Tisra we need to exchange kids now and then for a “mother’s day out” system of our own.
I have a lot more to write about but I’m going to see if Owen will consent to a nap today. He nearly fell asleep in the car so I know he’s tired.
I think it looks great!
I hope I didn’t sound as though I was knocking down your “Mother’s Day Out” idea. I just figured you wouldn’t want to trade with me (3 kids, ya know). I would love love love that. Even if I still had Lael and you just took the boys for a few hours. I mean, I might actually get to pee on my own. 🙂 We’ll have to talk about it. Owen’s not a problem to have around, my kids enjoy his company…he did really well. Good idea.
I think I see the “more” blue aspect in this picture. It looks pretty.
It must feel good to sit back and enjoy your new room! The color looks great against the stainless steel and the cabinets.
I really like it. 🙂
I like that color blue, or at least the blue I see on the screen. Can’t wait to see it in person.
