My little 4×4 garden in the backyard is producing! I have planted about 6 different herbs and some lettuce out there and though only three things are showing up at this point I am not discouraged because I’m excited to get any results at all.
The dill is coming up and the cilantro which are two of my favorite things. They are in desperate need of water which I will try to provide once the air cools a bit more this evening. I don’t want to shock them of course. I tried to get pictures of them but couldn’t get a good close up without it being blurry…I am no photographer. I was able to capture my three bursts of lettuce that are proudly showing themselves off. The first picture, to the left, is a little guy yet, but bound to grow big and strong like his partners. The picture below that is my medium sized fellow and I don’t know why he is growing so close to the edge, I assure you I didn’t plant him there. And below is a picture of the big guy on campus. Isn’t he handsome? Hopefully, I’ll have more to show as things continue to thrive on the Kelso farm.
How exciting! 🙂
Yum! I love fresh from the garden veggies and herb!
