After today I am officially half-way done with the induction diet. I am planning to look up what the requirements include for the OWL. That’s the ongoing weightloss phase. I sort of assumed that I stay on that plan until I’ve lost what I want to lose and then move on to the maintenance phase.
I didn’t lose any weight yesterday. I didn’t gain any so I’m not backtracking or anything but I did eat a little too much during the Super-Bowl. My low carb roll ups proved a little too tempting for me. I did not however, submit to the temptation of the snacks, pizza, coke, and homemade cookies that were present and directly under my nose all evening.
I enjoyed the game. Most of us were hoping for the Patriots to win so it wasn’t hard to get into it and cheer on our team. I was honestly not opposed to the Eagles winning except for Terrell Owens. I just don’t appreciate him personally, though he is an extremely talented player. You may argue that it’s football…just stick to cheering for talent and ability…but the problem is…he doesn’t just stick to football and therefore I can’t either. He bothers me.
Owen is still wobbly but determined on his hind feet. He is extremely excited about walking now and it’s hilarious to watch. I am going to try to put up some of the video we got of him walking on his website and I’ll post a link when we get it done.
