Feeling thinner. I was down another pound this morning and other than the pain in my back I feel great. I have been experimenting with recipes and some have turned out good, others…not so much. I tried making cream puffs with soy flour and they worked, but don’t taste good. Too coarse which is sort of what I expected but wanted to try it anyway. The recipe would have been wonderful had it worked. Less than 1 carb per puff. I did succeed at a crab and turkey roll up. I bought some low carb tortillas and rolled up a mixture of mayo, cream cheese, meat and veggies and once sliced they are less than a carb per roll. I just can’t go popping them in my mouth whenever I want. That would add up pretty quickly. At least it gives me something to snack on during the Super-Bowl.
Our living room is all ready for guests to watch the Super Bowl but I don’t think that many are going to show up. I’m a little disappointed in people. I don’t want to get started on it, but I don’t know how to motivate them. Enough said.
My chiropractor finally called late last night and gave my mind some relief regarding my back. He said it was my muscles doing all this too me and that an adjustment would possibly speed up the healing process but is not guaranteed. He said I should drink lots of water, take lots of ibuprofen, use cold packs for 20 minutes every 3 or 4 hours and rest. I can do that. I also went down front for prayer this morning and I feel good. I am still hurting, but I just feel confident that this isn’t going to happen again.
Time to watch the game…and there are a couple people here. Yeah!
